The Honorable Douglas D. Stauffer

The Honorable Douglas D. Stauffer is an internationally recognized author, historian, pastor, and public servant whose work focuses on American history, biblical apologetics, and the moral foundations of liberty. A prolific writer, he has authored more than two dozen books on theology, constitutional principles, and the spiritual heritage of the United States.

Dr. Stauffer was commissioned by Oxford University Press to serve as a contributing and consulting editor for the study notes of the New Pilgrim King James Study Bible, reflecting both academic credibility and a lifelong commitment to Scripture. In addition to his literary work, he serves as a pastor and holds elected office. His leadership in church and civic life reflects his conviction that faith and freedom are inseparable pillars of a flourishing republic.

A descendant of patriots who fought in the American Revolution, Dr. Stauffer brings personal heritage and scholarly insight to the enduring questions surrounding America’s founding and future.
